What is insanity?
Am I insane, and everybody else normal?
Or is it as my lover always says, that everyone thinking you're crazy is the sign of your being sane?
People say that imagination is the key to knowledge
Yet those whose minds are overflowing with creativity and imagined worlds are said to be insane.
If imagination and creativity are insanity
Then that creature haunts all the greatest minds in our world.
What is normal?
The people who spend their lives wishing for something more?
If insanity is trying to make those things real
Then I’ve got it bad.
Am I insane?
Don't even ask.
I have no idea what category to put this in. If you think it's in the wrong one can you let me know please?

Oh my, now that's an interesting subject. I myself do believe in the power of the mind, meaning, not only the knowledge and science but creativity mixed together... Which might result in being closer to things we considered other-worldly or divine. Today people might consider it insanity but in a couple of years... Who knows. Or maybe that's just my imagination :D

I mean, we don't really know ALL the mysteries behind the human brain. In the future we might be able to control things we didn't know even existed nowadays.

That it is :) Even as a psychologist I find it hard to tell which side of such a fine line the patient is on, though I do like to keep open-minded about it. We don't even use all of our brains yet, so if we don't destroy the planet within the next couple of million years who knows what we'll evolve to be capable of.

I wonder if we could explain miraculous recoveries of dying patients as one of the qualities of the mind that we aren't yet capable enough to understand. I mean, the body of such patient is near physical death but in rare situations when they *decide* that they will survive no matter what... They do.
Most people consider it God's miracle but as a less religious person I wonder if there is another explanation.

Sorry, I tend to bring up strange topics :iconembarrasedplz:

No, it's okay, I don't think it's strange :D
It's easily possible for that to be the case. I am a religious person myself, but I do like to keep myself open to any kind of explanation. It's always inspirational to hear of such stories :)

I'm a Pandeist myself so I do partially believe in the existence of some divine being :) Maybe there's something in-between, who knows.

Maybe. There are so many deities, in the modern and ancient worlds, it's hard to figure out which one could be true.

Nope i don't think so...insanity simply is doing something over & over again expecting different result each time...have you done this lately????

Heh, I was half-drunk and exhausted when I wrote this, it was just completely random.
Usually I don't bother doing things over and over again, so I wouldn't be in a position to expect something different in the first place. But there are the times I zone out and don't have a clue what I've just done :/
Thanks for commenting :)
